| Mode Of Action : Vasicine & Vasicinone are 2 major active compound found in Vasaka, which possess bronchodilatory activity & inhibit allergen – induced bronchial obstruction. Vasaka exhibits antitussive activity, which may be due to the action of vasicinone & vasicinol, which have activity in the cerebral medulla by active as codeine. |
